The lake location was perfect for our romantic escape. It was only a few steps from our door and we spent most of our time there. the sandy/muddy bottom of the lake was perfect for swimming. the weather was fantastic, with sunny days and no rain. We enjoyed exploring the village which was vibrant but not overcrowded. We especially loved the Hungarian cuisine and had no problems communicating, as the locals were helpful and friendly.
The hotel needs some refurbishment, especially mosquito nets which would have been useful. There were not enough electric sockets available for charging our electronics.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. the location was superb, just a short walk away from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and nice decoration. the breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. the garden was beautiful, making it a pleasant spot to have breakfast.
The only drawback was the lack of fire alarms in the rooms.
